Biz-Zone President Nominated for National Media Award

Julie King, President and CEO of Biz-Zone Internet Group Inc., has been nominated the CATAAlliance "National Public Relations Excellence in Science and Technology Reporting" award for work done through CanadaOne.com, a national small business website owned and operated by Biz-Zone.
One of five awards to be presented at the 29th Annual CATAAlliance Innovation Awards on May 21, 2014, the CATA website explains that this award is presented to "... a journalist or writer raising the public profile of science and technology and contributing to the building of a science and technology culture in Canada."
"CATAAlliance has shown true leadership in the advancement of technologies across Canada and it is an honour to be recognized for such a distinguished awards," says King.
Julie is passionate about the intersection of business and technology, striving to bring insights from emerging fields like neuroscience to help organizations work better.
"Advancement of technology and in particular helping leaders of smaller organizations keep pace with and adapt to rapid changes in technologies are critical issues that will determine whether our nation can stay competitive," says King. "As a champion of Incremental InnovationTM, I hope to help leaders better adapt and feel confident about using newer technologies in their organizations."
